Madeline “Mo” McCall

AS A MECHANICAL ENGINEERING INTERN AT 5BY5, MO SUPPORTS THE TEAM WITH MECHANICAL DESIGN AND PROJECT SETUP, BRINGING AN ADVENTUROUS, HANDS-ON APPROACH TO HER WORK.

A native of Anderson, Missouri, Mo is drawn to the problem-solving side of mechanical engineering and enjoys understanding how the physical systems around her actually work. That same curiosity shows up outside the office, where she's always eager to learn more about how things like cars are built and put together.

She joined 5BY5 Engineers in 2026 and is currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. At the firm, she assists with mechanical design, project setup, and as-built documentation, or whatever best reflects her day-to-day, gaining hands-on experience with the tools and processes used across real MEP projects.

Mo describes herself as loving, adventurous, and smart, and that adventurous streak carries into everything she does, from white water rafting to weekends spent camping and kayaking. What she values most about working at 5BY5 is the chance to learn directly from experienced engineers and to apply what she's studying to projects that make a difference for the communities they serve.
