Marie Fourie

In her role as Business Assistant, Marie is a dynamic force behind the scenes, supporting the team with administrative coordination, onboarding, invoicing, and financial processes.

She also lends her expertise to marketing and communications, managing LinkedIn activities and assisting with light marketing efforts.

Marie joined 5BY5 Engineers on March, 2025, bringing with her over a decade of experience in Business Management across a variety of industries—including restaurants, retail, promotional services, and Customer Success in the tech space.

She plays a key role in shaping internal and external presentations, as well as gathering and analyzing operational data to help the team track performance and set strategic goals. Whether it’s crunching numbers or crafting materials for a meeting, she’s always ready to jump in and support the team however needed.

Though not an engineer herself, Marie loves being part of the engineering environment at 5BY5. She especially appreciates the team's calm, inclusive nature and how every team member—whether Principal or Intern—is treated with respect and care. What she enjoys most is working within a culture that truly supports work-life balance, which allows her to excel professionally while raising her son.
