Owen Peachee

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at 5BY5, Owen supports the team by assisting with project setup, HVAC design, and creating as-built documentation.

His work contributes to real-world MEP solutions for clients such as Children’s Mercy Hospital, Trunk & Co., and various T-Mobile retail locations.

Owen joined 5BY5 Engineers in May 2025, and he is currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Rockhurst University, where he is also a student-athlete on the university’s soccer team.

Owen chose the field of mechanical engineering because of his passion for solving new challenges every day—he finds the variety and constant learning in this profession exciting. After graduating, he plans to pursue licensure and continue expanding his expertise in the field.

He holds a Heat Exchange certification and is an active member of the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers (MSPE). What he enjoys most about working at 5BY5 is learning directly from experienced professionals and gaining hands-on experience with the programs and processes used in the MEP industry.
